Not FDA-Approved for Treatment
IV hydration therapy is an elective, non-medically-necessary wellness service. IV hydration has not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the indications for which it is provided at ZYP Medical, including but not limited to hangover relief, general hydration, energy, recovery, immune support, or migraine relief. No specific result or health outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Off-Label Medication Use
Add-on medications administered as part of DRYP services (including Toradol/ketorolac, Zofran/ondansetron, Promethazine, and Benadryl) may be used in an off-label manner — meaning they may be administered for indications not specifically approved by the FDA. Off-label prescribing is legal, common in medical practice, and based on the treating provider's clinical judgment of risk versus benefit for the individual patient.
Compounded Medications, Vitamins, Peptides, and Supplements
Any compounded medications, vitamins, peptides, amino acids, or nutritional supplements that may be incorporated into IV therapy at ZYP Medical are not FDA-approved for the specific uses for which they are administered. Compounded preparations are mixed by licensed compounding pharmacies and are not subject to the same FDA premarket approval process as commercially manufactured drugs. Safety and efficacy data for these preparations may be limited.
Right to Refuse Service
ZYP Medical, LLC and its treating provider reserve the right to refuse, defer, or modify any IV hydration session at the provider's sole clinical discretion. Reasons for refusal include but are not limited to: clinical contraindication, inadequate venous access, abnormal vital signs at intake, undisclosed medical history, acute illness, pregnancy, signs of severe dehydration requiring emergency care, intoxication, or any other condition the provider determines makes IV therapy unsafe or inappropriate. A session refused for safety reasons may be rescheduled when feasible but is not refundable.
Not Emergency Care
DRYP IV hydration is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, signs of severe dehydration (confusion, fainting, no urine output), persistent vomiting, or any other medical emergency, call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency department immediately.
Not a Primary Care Relationship
Receiving IV hydration or membership services through DRYP does not establish a primary care relationship with ZYP Medical, LLC. Patients are responsible for maintaining ongoing primary care and age-appropriate preventive screenings with a separate primary care provider, and for informing that provider of any treatments received at ZYP Medical.
Patient Disclosure Responsibility
By receiving IV hydration services, you agree to fully and accurately disclose all current medical conditions, medications, supplements, allergies, and pregnancy status at each visit. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in adverse outcomes for which ZYP Medical and its providers cannot be held responsible.
Individual Results May Vary
Outcomes from IV hydration therapy vary by individual and depend on factors including baseline hydration status, underlying medical conditions, medications, and individual physiology. ZYP Medical does not guarantee any specific health outcome, symptom relief, recovery time, or wellness benefit from DRYP services.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
If you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, you must disclose this prior to any IV hydration session. Certain add-on medications (including Toradol) are contraindicated during pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester. The treating provider will modify or decline treatment as clinically appropriate.
Membership Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
The DRYP membership is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. By enrolling, you authorize ZYP Medical, LLC to automatically charge your payment method on file each billing cycle until you cancel. Cancellation requests must be received at least 3 business days prior to your next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged for the following month. Membership fees are non-refundable for cycles already begun. Full membership terms are provided at enrollment.
HIPAA & Privacy
All patient information collected by ZYP Medical, LLC is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). A copy of ZYP Medical's Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request and is provided at intake.
Governing Law
Services at ZYP Medical, LLC are provided in Gretna, Nebraska. Any disputes arising from services or membership are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska.
These disclosures are summaries provided for informational purposes. Full informed consent, liability waiver, clinic policies, and HIPAA acknowledgment forms will be reviewed and signed at your first visit.
