No! ZYP operates on a cash-pay model, which means you don't need insurance. Our flat $59.99 fee is often cheaper than most insurance copays for urgent care. However, we can provide you with an itemized receipt if you'd like to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

We offer same-day appointments and often have availability within hours. Simply book your preferred time slot online, or text us to request an urgent appointment. Most visits are completed in 15-20 minutes from start to finish.

We treat a wide range of non-emergency conditions including cold and flu, sinus infections, UTIs, skin rashes, allergies, pink eye, ear infections, digestive issues, headaches, minor injuries, and much more. If we can't treat your condition virtually, we'll let you know and guide you to the appropriate care.

Yes! If your provider determines a prescription is medically appropriate, they can send it directly to your preferred pharmacy. Most prescriptions are sent within minutes of your visit ending, and you can pick them up the same day. Please note that ZYP does not prescribe controlled substances through virtual visits.

Absolutely. All ZYP providers are licensed, board-certified medical professionals authorized to practice telemedicine in your state. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with extensive experience in urgent care and telehealth.

ZYP Virtual Urgent Care is currently available in Arizona, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Kansas, and South Dakota. We're actively working to expand to additional states. You must be physically located in one of our service states at the time of your visit.

You'll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection. Make sure you're in a quiet, well-lit space where you can speak privately with your provider. Have your pharmacy information ready if you think you might need a prescription.

After booking your appointment and paying the $59.99 fee, you'll complete a brief intake form and receive a secure video link via email. At your appointment time, click the link to connect with your provider. They'll assess your symptoms, make a diagnosis, discuss treatment options, and send prescriptions if needed—all in one convenient visit.

For many common conditions, yes! Studies show that virtual urgent care is just as effective as in-person visits for diagnosing and treating non-emergency conditions. Our providers can see, hear, and assess your symptoms through video. If we determine you need an in-person evaluation, we'll let you know and help guide you to appropriate care.

Yes! We can treat children of all ages through virtual urgent care. A parent or legal guardian must be present during the visit for patients under 18. Virtual visits are especially convenient for common childhood illnesses like ear infections, sore throats, rashes, and minor injuries.
